Happy New Year! The paintings of Joan Miro` inspired this abstract painting. I wanted my shapes to play and mingle with one another and to have a party on my canvas where everyone’s invited, no matter If they’re square, round, or heart-shaped; black, yellow, blue, red, or purple. A special thanks to all the Fineartamerica artists who have written such lovely comments on this painting. It would be wonderful if the whole world could be as understanding and supportive as artists are with each other. We don’t care about who lives where and what the politics are of any country. We don’t care about race or our religion, or lack of religion. We care about each other as human beings with a shared love of beauty and artistic freedom.
